Nektar Naturals has come up with a brilliant way to enjoy honey in your daily meals and treats without the sticky mess. Honey crystals in a packet! Why didn’t I think of that?
If you’re someone like myself, you love honey in many things besides your tea. Upon hearing about Nektar Naturals honey crystals I was excited to know how much easier it would be to enjoy honey without having a sticky desk, sticky fingers…. hell, sticky everything. Even honey packets are messy. With the Nektar Naturals honey crystal packets, I am allowed to have a sweet sticky free experience.
A few facts about the honey crystals:
- 100% All natural
- Naturally gluten free
- GMO free
- Made in the US
- Each packet is equivalent to one teaspoon of liquid honey
- You can take honey with you on the go now!!
As seen below, like many others, I use honey in my tea and oatmeal. That’s pretty much a norm. But in addition, since there isn’t a mess associated with using the packets, I’ve started to use them in my dinner meals as well.
Pictured below, I did use a packet of honey crystals to make chicken breasts! I usually sprinkle a bit of black pepper, fresh garlic, (and now some honey crystals) to make for some awesome honey garlic chicken! I’ve also used them to give my salmon a honey pepper taste.
I don’t get too crazy when I season my food, as I like to watch out for how much salt and other things I add in. So for my Salmon dish I simply sprinkle pepper (yes, I use black pepper for everything, sigh), ginger, and some honey crystals and pan sear it with olive oil. Yes, it sounds good. Yes it was good, and yes you should try it and tell me how you like it.
If you’re not big on honey in your food….. You can add them to treats too – like smoothies, yogurt, really anything that needs a boost of something sweet, literally. I’ve added it to my favorite smoothie blend I make at home which also consists of berries, almond milk, spinach, and protein powder. Although fruits add natural sweetness to smoothies and drinks – for those you make that don’t have many fruits or any for that matter – you can use these packets to add that sweet sting.
Nektar Naturals honey crystals are available by the box at select locations. Visit their site at NektarNaturals.com to find the retailer closest to you. They currently have a two pack (80 packets total) available on their site for $13.99 if you cannot find a location near you. Everyone wins 🙂 and now you can avoid the dreadful sticky honey bottle you see below – for good!
