    New York City 10K 2015 Race Recap: Damp Days Call for PRs!

    This past weekend I ran the New York City 10K with a bunch of my run buds on Roosevelt Island. Although the morning was damp and chilly, I set a new PR for my 10k distance!   Thinking about my previous 10K races where I had less training and mileage behind me – this one was very special and is a result of hard work.     #TCSNYCMarathon Training: 22 Mile Run Done! Time To Taper!

    The homestretch is upon us!! The TCS New York City Marathon is just 19 days away and I completed my longest run of my training program on Sunday. I woke up at dark O’ thirty along with a few run buds of mine and we set out to Staten Island to run our 22 miler. We ran 9 miles and finished the last 13 in NYRR’s Five Borough Series Staten Island Half Marathon. I wish I could say it was easy but it wasn’t.
